Creviston ~ Fader Duo and Copland Foundation Grant

Creviston ~ Fader Duo (Sax and Electric guitar)
and Copland Foundation Grant

Congratulations to Scott Burgess of White Pine Music, the recipient of a 2011 Copland Foundation Recording Grant, to record the Creviston Fader duo — works by John Anthony Lennon, David Claman, Brian Coughlin, Dorothy Chang, Gregory Wanamaker, Eric Schwartz, Whitney Ashe and Michael Djupstrom.  The Duo is also delighted to announce that Brooklyn-based graphic artist Adam Suerte has agreed to do the cover art.

**EACH WORK WAS COMPOSED (or arranged) SPECIFICALLY FOR THE CREVISTON ~ FADER DUO.

Together since 2005, Creviston and Fader are committed to expanding the repertoire for the exciting combination of saxophone and electric guitar.  To date, the duo has a rep of pieces written specifically for them, by composers John Anthony Lennon, Gregory Wanamaker, Whitney Ashe, David Claman, Eric Schwartz, Brian Coughlin, Dorothy Chang, Michael Djupstrom and Evan Hause.  Creviston also appears with pianist Hannah Gruber, Capitol Quartet and harpist Frances Duffy.  Fader is a member of contemporary ensembles Cygnus, Fireworks and Poetica Musica.
